Motivational Quotes will make you think, and motivate you to positive action.
Zig Ziglar once quoted that:
"People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily."
He made a very good point.
We are bombarded by negativity. It's all around us. TV, newspapers, internet, etc.
I watched a documentary named Bowling for Columbine by Michael Moore. Even though it mainly covered firearms, what I found interesting is that Canadians have very little violence compared to the United States.
What Michael uncovered is that we are taught to fear everything because of our news outlets.
Fear is so ingrained in our culture that you must eliminate as much of it as you can.
Without daily motivation you could fall into a pattern of negative thinking that could affect, not only your income, but your health as well.
Staying motivated is not an easy task in the beginning.
When you make motivation a habit, it becomes a lot easier to motivate yourself when necessary.
I hope you enjoy the following motivational quotes as much as I do.
"The best motivating is self-motivating. The guy says, “I wish someone would come by and turn me on. “What if they don’t show up? You’ve got to have a better plan for your life."
"Your natural inclination is always to improve your score. If you were to keep score on the five things that would advance your personal and professional objectives the most, imagine how motivated you would be each time the numbers improved in your favor."
"Get interested in your work. Interest and motivation go together like Siamese twins. Get more information. The more you know about something the greater the odds you will become absorbed in it."
"Positive thoughts are life enhancing. They empower you and make you feel stronger and more confident. Positive thinking is not just a motivational idea. It has measurable, constructive effects on your personality, your health, your levels of energy, and your creativity. The more positive and optimistic you are, the happier you will be in every area of your life."
"A definite sense of purpose also adds a strong motivation toward making the most of our abilities."
"The biggest difference between a “wisher” and a “doer” is motivation."
Charles “Tremendous” Jones
"When we look at the collected research for fundamental human motivations over the past few decades, as well as historical examples, it generally comes down to three core motivators: money, freedom, and meaning."
"Knowledge is the theoretical paradigm, the what to do and the why. Skill is the how to do. And desire is the motivation, the want to do. In order to make something a habit in our lives, we have to have all three."
Stephen R. Covey
"Instead of looking outward for someone or something to motivate us, how much easier it would be for us to turn inward and use ourselves for our own motivation!"
"Praise from a manager, written thanks, and public praise were three of the top five motivators among the surveyed employees."
"Until you’ve set your desire and motivation in place, you’ll abandon any new path you seek to better your life. If your why-power, your desire, isn’t great enough, if the fortitude of your commitment isn’t powerful enough, you’ll end up like every other person who makes a New Year’s resolution and gives up too quickly and reverts to sleepwalking through poor choices."
"Motivation is a fire from within. If someone else tries to light that fire under you, chances are it will burn very briefly."
Stephen R. Covey
